Amanda Ryan is a native Delawarean who grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and has spent every summer of her existence vacationing in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Her family has spent their summers vacationing in Rehoboth Beach as far back as four generations. Through family stories, fond memories, and pure experience, Amanda learned at an early age to appreciate the beauty, uniqueness and the relaxed way of life on the Delaware Shore.

In 1999, Amanda graduated with honors from Virginia Tech University, where she earned a degree in Fashion Design and Promotional Merchandising. After graduation Amanda decided to spend one last summer in Rehoboth Beach. Like so many of us, she never left.

The first 6 years of her career, Amanda worked in Rehoboth Beach in the retail and wholesale fields of the fashion industry. Much of her time was spent traveling to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, China and Hong Kong, where she worked closely with numerous sales representatives and manufacturers. These years ultimately trained Amanda to be extremely detailed oriented among a fast paced and highly demanding work environment.

In 2005, Amanda’s entrepreneurial instincts led her to venture into the marketing/advertising business in hopes of learning about other industries. Sharing her positive attitude, organizational skills, creativity, and marketing knowledge has allowed Amanda to maintain a successful business of her own, Ryan Consulting.

While developing a growing client base for her business, Amanda made a decision to further her education and augment the family income by obtaining her Real Estate License in 2007. For some time now, Amanda has worked on the marketing end of the real estate industry but she is now enjoying all aspects of being a Sussex County, Delaware Realtor®. She has had nothing but success as a Realtor®, and she finds great joy in finding her clients their ideal home.

Amanda has been blessed with a great husband and family, an adorable dog named Bodhie, a fabulous circle of friends and wonderful opportunities in life. She truly enjoys working with everyone at Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty and being a part of one of the most reputable sales teams in town.
